Tonight – the NLCS continues as the Cards and Brewers are at Busch Stadium for game 3. Chris Carpenter goes to the mound for the Cards and Yovanni Gallardo takes the hill for the Brewers. The series is tied at 1 game a piece and the first pitch is scheduled for around 7PM tonight.
Game 3 of the ALCS took place last night in Detroit and the Tigers beat the Rangers 5-2. That series is now 2-1 in favor of Texas and game 4 is tonight in Detroit.
Another real quick baseball note: Red Sox GM Theo Epstein is reportedly very close to signing a deal to become the next GM of the Chicago Cubs….no word on what it will take as far as $$$ of compensation to the Red Sox (because Epstein still has one more year on his contract with Boston), but all reports are pointing towards him being Chicago Bound.
And in a total non-shocking moment…Tim Tebow was announced as the new starting QB for the Denver Broncos. Denver is currently 1-4 and head coach John Fox said, “We have to make a change and we have to do something to win football games.” Tebow will get almost 2 full weeks of practice as the starter…the Broncos have a bye this week.

A Muncie man was arrested Monday, after police said he drove drunk and later threw a container of urine at a police officer. Police suspected Scott Grahg of driving while under the influence because of his erratic driving. Once pulled over, officers said Grahg said he was not doing anything wrong by drinking and driving, because he did not hit anyone. Grahg refused to take a breathalyzer test, so he was taken to the hospital to have blood drawn.Police said that is where he threw a container of his urine at an officer.Grahg is facing preliminary charges Tuesday morning for the incident.He is being held in the Delaware County Jail.
