LOCAL BITCH BE TRIPPIN! Police on Tuesday released several 911 calls made by a Belleville woman who called because she couldn’t get alcohol. Police say 36-year-old Shannon White dialed 911 several times on Saturday around 8:30 p.m. to complain her boyfriend would not allow her to drink more beer. “Tonight he took away my beer and I want to drink some beer, and he took away my beer,” White said on one of the calls. Last Wednesday, 26-year-old Jennifer Marie Sharp of Ferndale, Washington went camping with her 34-year-old boyfriend. Late that night, they got into an argument about an ex . . . although we’re not sure WHOSE ex they were fighting over. Jennifer demanded the car keys, but her boyfriend refused . . . because she’d been drinking. And he decided to end the argument by going to sleep. That was a mistake. Jennifer doused his tent with lighter fluid and lit it on FIRE . . . with him inside. Luckily, he was able to escape. Then, Jennifer attacked him with pieces of firewood, cooking utensils, and camp chairs before wandering off into the dark. The police picked her up on the side of the road, and she was arrested on domestic violence and arson charges.
A Burlington woman died Monday after dousing herself in gasoline and setting herself ablaze at a filling station. The station’s manager, Kasey Morgan, told the Burlington Free Press that after the woman — whose name has not yet been released — paid for $5 worth of gas inside, she left her ID card on the counter, saying that she didn’t need it anymore. Morgan shut off the gas pumps as she watched the woman begin to pour gas all over herself, but was unable to stop the woman from setting herself on fire.
A worker handing out food samples at a Georgia Walmart was taken into custody after police say she pushed a co-worker handing out taste tests into a fruit cooler. Police say 56-year-old Marissa Moody’s feet were up in the air and she could not get out of the cooler Saturday afternoon at the crowded Walmart in Milton, north of Atlanta. A third worker helped her out of the cooler. The news aired surveillance video showing a chase through the produce area before Moody was pushed into the cooler. Police say 63-year-old Dorothy R. Kemp was charged with simple battery. Jail records did not indicate whether she has an attorney. Police say the dispute was over equipment used by the workers, including a cutting board and a bottle of disinfecting spray. SEE THE VIDEO HERE!
22-year-old Susan Paola Fadel Correia is a college student in Belem, Brazil. Last week, her final paper was due in a class and she hadn’t finished it. So she came up with a perfectly logical plan. She FAKED A KIDNAPPING. Susan claimed she’d been abducted by three men who tied up her wrists and held her captive for 24 hours. She said she managed to escape, borrowed a phone from a man in the street, and called her mother. But after a brief investigation, the police figured out it was all a fake. A spokesman says she admitted she faked the kidnapping because, quote, “she didn’t want to upset her mother yet again as the same thing happened last term.” Susan was charged with false reporting of a crime . . . and she’s facing one to six months in prison.
